LAB 1
TERESA RAINIERI (Italy)

Choreography: A personal interpretation
JULY 19–23, 2010

K3-Zentrum für Choreographie | Tanzplan Hamburg | 1–4 pm
Open door day July 23 | 3 pm

As a choreographer, more than looking for a form, I am interested to the intention that generates a form. In other words, what interests me is not how I move but why I move. Therefore, during a creation process, I shift myself in different states of mind that suggest my body to move, following clear images. In this LAB my purpose is to share such a process with the dancers and create choreographic material, for solo and/or partner work. On this journey, we will look for strategies that will allow the dancers to achieve a very personal understanding of my choreographic material. As a frame of work, we are going to play with images and episodes that are part of my recent creation based on the idea of how a body can reproduce memories.
